Run from creepy ads
Why this filter?
The group “The Greens/EFA” in the European Parliament wanted to create a filter to approach the subject of digital rights, in order to fight for a safer Internet. At a time when websites access our data and are inundated with targeted advertisements.
In this filter, the user is integrated into a character who walks calmly (representing browsing the net). A warning message will then appear and the character will begin to run away from advertisements that pursue him because his data is like sucked! Luckily he will be able to block them by clicking on a banner in order to deactivate them and switch to “anonymous” mode and thus find a safer and more protected navigation.
This experience is a good way to show that augmented reality can also be useful to educate users while having fun in front of the camera!
